The Body Shop Mini Haul & Shower Gel Review

I hop into The Body Shop in my recent shopping outing with husband. even I crossed The Body Shop every time in the mall this was my first visit and I was totally blank out what to choose!! after checking almost the shop I decided to buy something I really use. As the winter arrived my skin need some special care, so I picked up COCONUT BODY BUTTER & NEROLI JASMINE SHOWER GEL.

I haven't tried Body Butter yet so review will be in another post. so lets have a look on Neroli Jasmine Shower gel.

THE BODY SHOP'S NEROLI JASMINE SHOWER GEL

Scent 

a mixed feeling of artificial and flowery kind of perfume smell. smell disappears once washed off, though the scent was too strong in the bottle.

Lather

a thick liquid. lather so well. doesn't dry my skin. 

What I Like
I am not an artificial scent lover. yet this was kinda lovely perfume smell for me.
few drops lathers well.
a handy tiny bottle, with quite lowest price tag. 
good for travelling.

What I Don't Like
disappoint me without leaving any smell or moisture.

Finally, its an OK product.

Labello Glamorous Gloss

Labello got a huge number of varies lip balms and lipgloss products. among them I have Labello Pure & Nature MILK & HONEY featured in my July Haul, Labello Fruity Shine STRAWBERRY anndd Labello Glamorous Gloss Natural. Today review is about Labello Glamorous Gloss Natural. I will do other two reviews later.

its a handy tube of lipgloss. easy to use, no need much space. cap is preventing from squeezing out. so I can carry it with me wherever I go.

•  Texture - a thicky, sticky, light pinky texture.

• Scent & colour - I was unable to catch the exact flavor or smell. it got a nice smell though. light pink liquid, yet nude when applied. gives a nice shine to nude lips. not too heavy, not too sparkle. gives an beautiful finish with a lip liner. 

Easy to spread to the lip corners with tube top. stand for a hour or so. fade out with leaving a light moisture. not too sticky for lips. overall I loved it.

Queen Of Sweets ~GULAB JAMUN~

Another sweet post!! yeah. a dessert with lots of sweetness. it deserve the Title 'Queen Of Sweets' for sure. Since I ate my first jamun I couldn't ignore eating it again and again. as I remember, the first dessert I made was Gulab Jamun. since then I couldn't stop making it whenever I remember its sweetness. no one would disagree if I say, you couldn't stop having it again and again if you taste it once. isn't it?

my first Gulab jamun recipe was from my mother. and then I also tried another different recipe from fauzia's kitchen fun. there are different methods and recipes for Gulab jamun. find one which you like and try it by yourself.

feel a sweet bite of Coconut Toffee

Coconut toffee is in top of my most favourite sweets. usually I never refuse to take a bite and taste any of sweet dish. as same as I love sweets, you have no idea how much spices I need to my spicy dishes. well that was a hot topic. today I need to be sweet and calm. so I took countless bites from my homemade Coconut toffees. a quick an easy dish to make. a bite of sweetness with crush of coconuts. perfect for surprise your surprise visitors.

Lets see How it made..

No lot ingrediants.. 

1 cup finely grated coconut

1 cup sugar

1/4 cup water

pinch of grounded cardamom

bit of salt

food colouring (Gentle Pink or Green look awesome)

mix the sugar, grated coconut and water in a deep pan over medium heat. let the mixer boil and give a stir now and then. meanwhile get a baking or anything with a little grease of butter on it. add food colouring to the boiling mixer and mix well. stir salt and grounded cardomom. 

adding a bit of salt (a very little bit) to sweets will help to get a rich flavour of sweetness. 

when the mixture reaches a soft ball consistency, pour the mixture into the baking pan or something which you already prepared. let it cool and cut into pieces. 

I never stay until it cools. so I took first few bites before it ready to serve. hehe. it will vanish withing hour or so. try it, taste it and you'll definetly gonna love it.

Autumn Wishlist ~NBBN THEME POST~

Autumn is an awesome season.. lovely enviorenment, coloured autumn foliage is specially notable in this season. and climate changes, halloween celibrations are also happening around this season. although winter is not so far now. so NBBN group members choose Autumn/Halloween theme posts for this month. I already told about theme posts in my last month (theme) post. as a group activity I will publish a theme post every month.I saw some shops started autumn sales, so I thought to do a wishlist since I didn't try one yet. so here my Autumn Wishlist.

need some casual T-shirts. as my little baby bump is showing off now I feel more comfortable in free size dresses, and I don't want them to throw away right after pregnancy as well. 

winter is on the way, I may need some sweaters and overcoats..

didn't forget my theme 'Autumn'.. these dresses remembering me colourful tree leaves in autumn season.

H&M SOLID BLACK Eyeliner

Hi! I am back with my blog posts again.so today review is about Solid Black Eyeliner pencil from H&M.
an eyeliner with me for a year now. use very often as always when I'm going out. brand name almost faded and its getting shorter day by day, so before I replace it I wanted to review it.

Colour 
Dark black. stay until remove properly. smudge a little if wet. 

Texture
little clay like texture. easy to achieve a quick smoky look. 

No smudging at all if you never cry or if  keep your fingers away. Not too expensive and  I love using it. Will be the best daily use eye liner if it was water proofed. yet it is good.

Spicy Pasta

Something special for Dinner is something special. I am so in love with trying new recipies. you all know that right? tfew days ago I tried this spicy pasta for dinner. but this time I didn't follow a recipe, just cook as I feel..

'Pasta' you can try hundred of recipies with it. everytime it taste different. now stop bla.. bla.. bla.. and lets have a quick look how I made it.

Ingrediants

boiled pasta

pasta sauce

oil

cooked chicken 

1 chopped onion

1 green chilli

curry leaves

chopped capsicum

grated carrot

salt

chilli flakes

black pepper powder

How to make 

Heat the pan add some oil, cook onion, chicken, green chilli, curry leaves, until golden brown. add capsicum and chopped carrot. cook it for 2 mins, add some salt. add pasta sauce. sprinkle some chilli flakes and pepper as per your taste. add it to boiled pasta, sprinkle some crushed cumin and pepper seeds. garnish it as you like and ready to eat.

pasta sauce

I experiment a sauce recipe which I tried to make pizza. its easy.

1 blended tomato (with skin)

1 tbl spoon tomato sauce

pinch of crushed cumin seeds, black pepper, and other spices as your taste

salt

water as needed

add one by one to make a thick paste.when it become dry while cooking sprinkle some water. 

I felt this recipe is kinda different than what I used to cook often. and its delicious too.hope you like it too..:)

Quick Paper Flower work~ NBBN RED THEME POST~

* before I start my post I want to inform, that as a Member of Newbie Beauty Bloggers Network, monthly theme post  is a part of our group activity. this month theme is red. so this post is dedicated to NBBN Group.

I came up with the idea of handmade craft for red theme. I wanted to do something without spending money. so I peep all over the house to find things to make something quick and easy. I usually love handworks from my school days. those days I was crave for handcrafts everytime. like twins paper and me never depart. my mom says I always with a piece of paper and writing or drawing something on it. although I have a crazy habit to collect waste papers & cardboards. I never wanted them to go to dustbin. ;) crazy yeah! thanks for that habit, Icould find some papers on my cupboard..here I recycle them to make a cute flower work.

I forgot to capture while I making it, if so it would be easy for explaining. but anyway it's super easy to do. lets have a step by step look.

Step 1 : on a cardboard draw a flower shape, and cut it. I cut them in two sizes.(to make some little flowers too)

Step 2 : got some half sheets, colour sheets would be best. but I paint white paper for this. (brown paper also work well) cut some petals using the cardboard. crush each and colour them. cut some leaves and colour them too. 

Step 3 : paste petals one by one as much as you want. I used 5 petals to make a flower. finish it by adding  a bead to middle.

Step 4 : cut a piece of cardboard in to any shape.( I cut a rectangle piece first, after paste flowers adjust the shape to match the flower design.) you can decorate it as you like. I just paste a red cardboard piece on the top to match red theme.

Finally paste the flowers and the leaves on the decorated cardboard piece. I can either use it as a table decor or hang it on the wall. 

Extra Tips : make it in the different sizes, and hang them on wall. they will look WOW!!!!

Clean & CLear Morning Energy Shine Control Daily Facial wash

"a refreshing face wash for everyday use, wake me up in the morning with the lemongrass and fruit extracts.. clean and freshen up your skin. oil-free and keep your face shine and oil less..." doesn't that sound like a face wash advertisement.. well that is my attempt to describe the big name of this greeny bottle face wash.     most of the times products we use doesn't work as we hope. But, what I said in the begining about this face wash is not completely my imagination. 

It is an unusual shape of a bottle and kind a funny look, isn't it? 
bottle is visible, so I can see I've finished more than half from the bottle. so definitely I must know every part of this product. 

so here is the rapid review of 'Clean & Clear Morning Energy Shine Control Daily Facial wash.'

• Smell : citrus based smell. fresh and nice. 
• Texture: glue texture.colourless, can see very little pieces of the greeny thing which is in the bottle.they are not scrubs.
• How It Works: I have a normal to oil skin.it remove oil and dirt on my face. skin look fresh and shine. doesn't dry at all.
• My thoughts: it doesn't help to look fresh and shiny for long. little later I can see my skin is back to oil again. over all it is work as it say, but quite for a while after wash. If your looking for an oil-free face wash that doesn't dry your skin, then you can try this.
